Long summer days, mean lots of sunshine. I love the warm glow and the varied shades of gold at different points of a warm summer day. Everything looks just so fresh and inviting. Summer is such a wonderful time to get married.

With warmer days, you can events outside, you can choice lighter foods and more refreshing drinks. Fresh, seasonal produce along with frozen cocktails or Popsicles are very popular. No matter how much you may love the sun, remember guests will want a few ways to escape the heat. Find ways to provide shade and lots of water. I’ve been to more than one wedding where I felt I was melting in the sun waiting for the ceremony to start. Bottle water in tubs of ice would have been a lifesaver!!
