When I think of elegant, chic weddings, I think of this sheer, blush champagne look. It’s full of lace, delicate flowers, soft lines and beautiful details. Layers of texture and muted pinks, melt into this gorgeous look. It’s sure to make anyone, a blushing bride. Happy Wednesday!

As the fruit trees here are waking up – now in full bloom, spring is here! As blooms give way to fruit, orchards become a wonderful inspiration. Vintage fruit crates, berry tarts, natural citrus centerpieces, artisan honey. This theme is perfect for late spring & summer events. Warmer weather, green grass and local in-season fruit and vegetables, give tons of dessert and food inspiration! Peach trees, orange groves or cherry trees all can become a beautiful backdrop.

For fall weddings, think about apple harvest time, featuring apple cider, apple fritters and warm pies!

For more inspiration, check out this great orchard wedding here!

For being someone who doesn’t really like blue, this icy hue is so fresh and clean, I can’t help but like it. It’s this great combination of modern style and elegance. It can be used for a seaside event, or cool winter wedding.

Remember when balloons were used as a prize at school or given away at the fair or a cheesy way to decorate for a Jr. High dance? Suddenly I’m seeing more and more cute balloon event ideas. It’s a great way to transform a room. They can add a lot of color and dimension. Many of these new ideas involve very large balloons. Compared to tenting a room, or floral displays, balloons are a very whimsical, budget friendly element. Just about anything simple, when presented or packaged well can be chic!!!

Lots of people have been asking about our trip to Texas to see Troy’s Grandma.. well thanks for asking. It was really good, but a lot more complicated with a toddler in tow. Everything is definitely bigger in Texas! We enjoyed sweet tea, southern hospitality and hush puppies. Here is some southern inspiration for your Tuesday!!!

I love this romantic color combination above!
