We got in late Sunday night from a long weekend that started out fun and relaxing, then turned, frightening, stressful, exhausted and sleepless. I need more time to sort though all that has happened. Stay tuned, but when it’s all said and done, we’re so thankful for our little gift of Emma. A very tired b….
Thanks to Ken and Teresa for taking our Christmas pictures. We were also on their blog.. thanks so much:-) We’ve been wrapped up this week in Emma’s adoption finalization which took place on Monday. Kinda surreal to be in a court room officially making her ours. A year ago we would never have dreamed this up. We’re so grateful for all the family and friends who have been apart of our journey! Hugs and love… b
Congrats here our the winners for our Letterpress Holiday Giveaway…
“My favorite holiday tradition is when my Jewish cousins come over so we can celebrate Hanukkah with them. While they are visiting, we all decorate our family Christmas tree. I love it because they get so excited since they don’t have a Christmas tree and we even have special ornaments just for them!”
and #90 Leslie..
“After the presents have been unwrapped, Christmas dinner has been eaten, and dishes have been put away, our family sits in the living room and reads the Christmas Story.”
Thank you all for your great comments!! I loved reading them all. Winners.. e-mail me at becky(at)sugarpluminvtions(dot)com, so I can mail out your gifts!!

We recently printed some new letterpress business cards, 2 sided, 2 colors per side for a total of 4 ink runs. We used extra thick 600 gsm cotton paper. I went simple with minimum contact information.
In today’s web linked world you can find our phone number, blog, location etc. etc from our website. Too often people bog down their business cards with too much information, their title, tag line, physical address, phone number, cell number, twitter etc. I wanted something clean and simple.
Look for a letterpress giveaway on Thursday!!!!
I’m feeling much better.. and back to blogging..
Lately I’ve been loving puffy, full ball gowns and mermaid dresses with a full skirt. In today’s modern world when else do you get to dress up in something so frilly? Unless you work as Cinderella at Disneyland, it’s kinda a once in a lifetime chance. I feel the same way about veils. When else am I going to be able to wear a veil? You might as well go all out!!!
Here are some of my favorites, including a peak at Vera Wang’s Spring Collection.
Stay tuned for a holiday letterpress giveaway!!!!
I have about a million things to do this weekend, but sadly that’s all come to a complete stop, as I’m battling a nasty cold:-( I went to bed at 7:40pm last night! I hope you have a better weekend than I!!! I feel so yucky that Emma is watching videos for the first time.. I have a feeling she’s going to love, lace, princesses and glitter!! Watch out world the sparkle queen is coming….
Did you see we were featured on It’s the little things blog yesterday?? We were so excited! Her blog features tons of inspiration, her own photography and her latest jewelry designs. It’s the oh-so popular blog of Lisa Leonard Designs- handmade custom jewelry. Lisa was too kind to feature us and make our letterpress work look stunning. I know Lisa in “real life” and she’s actually more amazing than you can believe. You can read her story here and shop for the perfect personalized Christmas gift here.
