Thanks so much for sharing Danni- here is some gold and mint inspiration for you! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend and staying cool. We are spending a lot of time in the pool!
What inspires you?
I am inspired by everything around me: people and things I love, a sunrise or sunset, nature, simplicity in everyday objects, blogs and crafts and arts.
If you were “stranded” on an island what would you want… besides unlimited food and drink?
I’d want my boyfriend, nicholas, to be with me. I would also definitely need chapstick, or I might go crazy!
If you had an extra hour in your day, how would you spend it?
I would without a doubt spend an extra hour relaxing and reading a book, since it seems like I don’t have time for it now.
What have you enjoyed the most about blogging?
The most enjoyable thing about blogging is all the relationships you make! I LOVE all the friends I’ve made and opportunities that have been opened up since starting my blog.
If you could visit any where in the world where would it be?
Great question! I’ve been super blessed to have traveled to several countries that I’d wanted to go to so my current top place I’d absolutely love to visit is Israel or Egypt! It would be so amazing!
Do you ever feel stuck in a creative rut? How do you get out of it?
Oh definitely and sometimes quite often. I just search through blogs and look at inspiring images to get the creativity flowing again.
For being someone that typically doesn’t like pink as a color.. I’m getting to enjoy it more in my old age:-) (I actually own quite a few pink shirts these days.. maybe marriage has made me more girly.) Here are some chic, elegance ways to add this feminine, pretty color to your event!
Who doesn’t love ice cream? What can be sweeter than vintage soda fountains and ice cream parlors? Here are some of my favorite engagement shots.
Of course homemade ice cream is best… but besides that…what is your favorite flavor/ kind? Mine would be just about any kind of Ben & Jerry’s or tiramisu gelato!
Blogging is a funny thing. Via SWB I’ve “met” random readers from around the world. Then once in a while I “meet” someone around the corner! Ken and I know a lot of the same people, but via the blog world we discovered each others work. He was kind of enough to shoot some of our recent work, and I’m so blessed to have him present our letterpress work so beautifully and creatively!! Thank you so much Ken. You can enjoy his passion for photography here and at his blog!
As summer is coming to a close, I thought I’d share a few personal pictures from our summer. At 13 months suddenly Emma is a toddler, exploring, running, throwing random stuff, kicking balls, babbling all the time, signing “all done”, “more”, “milk” etc. She loves to “read” and be read to. More than anything she loves our electric toothbrushes and the ocean!!! We now go weekly and I’m sure she’s going to want a surfboard next Christmas:-) Hope you are soaking up the sunshine!
Loving her in pigtails.. sadly they get destroyed at nap time!
You know you’re a bad blogger when your mom bugs you about needing to post more:) You also know you don’t get out much, when it’s a luxury to shop and actually go to the fitting room to try stuff on. (Impossible to normally do with a toddler.) I’m back from Sacramento, had a great weekend with long time/ lifetime friends!!! Makes me feel old when we sit around and talk about houses, interest rates and our kids. I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things. I loved the image from Rosenow’s work above and it inspired today’s post. I think I’m loving anemones more and more!
