OK, so I can’t make too much fun of the 1970′s wedding fashion, since my parents got married in the 70′s and my mom reads this blog:-) So Mom, just for you.. here is a variety of vintage fashion from the flower power look to the prairie style. When I think about the 70′s, I think of disco, fondue, mixed fruity drinks, and hippies. For formal wear who could forget the tuxedo shirts with the ruffle front on it. It was a time with a lot of colors, big bell sleeves, bright yellow and lots and lots of lace!! Floral decor had to include flower baskets, daises, and carnations.

Love the vintage look of mid-century? Nothing seems to be hotter these days than mid-century fashion, decor and styling. It was a time of classic elegance… a few of the style icons in wedding fashion included Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy.
